Privacy Policy

This page explains the types of data Workfolio may collect and how that data is used to operate portfolio and career workspaces.

This page is a starter policy and should be reviewed before production launch.

Account data

Workfolio stores account details such as name, email address, password hash, role membership, and authentication-related records needed to sign in and manage access.

Workspace data

Workspace records include tenant name, slug, plan, owner, workspace membership, settings, and content created inside an authenticated tenant workspace.

Portfolio data

Public portfolio content may include profile details, skills, services, projects, project images, SEO metadata, social links, and public URLs. Content published to /u/{slug} is intended to be visible publicly.

Contact messages

When visitors submit a contact form, Workfolio stores the submitted name, email, subject, message, selected options, status, and timestamps so the workspace owner can respond.

Analytics events

Workfolio may record basic analytics events such as page views, project views, CV downloads, and contact submissions to help workspace owners understand engagement.

Uploaded files

Uploaded files can include profile images, project images, and CV files. These files are used to display portfolio content or provide public downloads when the owner chooses to publish them.

Cookies and sessions

Workfolio uses cookies and server-side session data for authentication, selected workspace state, localization, theme preferences, and basic application operation.

Data deletion contact

To request deletion or correction of workspace data, contact the Workfolio operator or support contact configured for the deployment. Production deployments should publish a dedicated support email here.
